Dirty rat!

Some snaps I got of the Bansky rat piece in SOHO. This thing is HUGE!

We also came across this piece in Brooklyn titled "Cereal Killers". It has all of your favorite cereal characters in a violent state of mind!

New pop up art gallery at 282 Bowery and Houston Street in NY

On my recent trip up to NY, My boy Evan G. and I stumbled upon this pop up gallery and took some pics. Here is some info on the gallery and some pics I snapped.

The dealer who represents the infamous British artist Banksy is opening his first gallery in New York. Steve Lazarides, who owns Lazarides Gallery, which has four outposts in and around London, will open a pop-up gallery in a former restaurant-supply store on the corner of Bowery and Houston Street beginning tomorrow.

The show, "The Outsiders," which will be open for two weeks, features new work from Mr. Lazarides's stable of provocative artists, including a portrait of President Bush made out of bits of pornography and two large murals adorning the exterior of the gallery.

Worldwide baby!!

(Click on flier to enlarge)
In two weeks, we join forces with the good people at Ubiq in Philadelphia to launch our Fall 2008 line, but more importantly, to celebrate the debut of the “Worldwide Tour Collection,” a 5-piece pack that we designed and produced for The Death Set based on essential pieces they need when they’re on the road. This collection will be available for presale at Ubiq in limited quantities during the event, and will then be available for general preorder on our webshop shortly thereafter. Also joining in on the celebration are our good friends Ninjasonik (Brooklyn) and DJ Impulse (Baltimore), who will be providing live music that evening along with The Death Set.

Long story short, this will be a celebration that is not to be missed, especially since we plan to accomplish this within the confines of the Ubiq downtown store. Arrive early because space is going to be very limited.

We hope to see you there.

Some different shit...

As some of you may know, E Major and myself have formed like voltron and have been working on some new music. We have ALWAYS been fans of Baltimore club music since we were like 14, so don't think that we are just "riding the wave" here!
We decided to put a little spin on E Major's usual flow, and this is what we came up with. Stay tuned for more fire from the Demonstrators!

New XM Radio mix!

Here is my new mix for Subsoniq on XM Radio this week. This is a 60 minute classic underground hip-hop mix, so throw this in your I-Pod, strap on your back pack, throw the fresh butter timbs on and hit the streets!

Amazing interview with Clark Kent pt. 1

Here is part 1 of a 2 part series with the legendary Dj Clark Kent. The homies over at NHTVSN got him to sit down and chat about everything from sneakers, to how Biggie and Jay Z got together on one of my favorite records "Brooklyn's Finest". Stay tuned for part 2!
