Paper Runnin Remix!!

Last week my homie and fellow Skratch Makanik Excel sent me over his final version for the Paper Runnin remix. This version has more of an electro feel to it, and it BANGS!!!
Do it for the strong, we do it for the meek
Boom it in your boom it in your boom it in your Jeep
Or your Honda or your Beemer or your Legend or your Benz
The rave of the town to your foes and your friends!!!!!!!!!

Bmore to Philly!
Saturday I headed up to Philly for a night of fun with the homie Excel. I was working on about 2hrs of sleep from the previous night, but I was AMPED! I got up there around 8 and we headed in town for a few slices before his first gig of the night. Its was an event called beats and rhymes I believe, and it was producers cooking up beats live on stage. I got to meet Jay-ski and checked out a few joints he was working on while Ex smashed through some great hip hop.
Since he had to play until 10:30, I ran over to Denim to get things started. This club was pretty ill and the folks there were really hospitable. The funny thing was, when I walked in, EVERYONE thought I was Excel so I told them I was his stunt double for the night! Around 1am I stepped up to the plate and played for about an hour. The format Ex has going there is DOPE, and is basically ANYTHING GOES! I got to play some of my favorite's that I have been listening to lately with a few commercial joints sprinkled in. Towards the end of the night the homie Fashen came through after his gig and got to close out the night with some great tracks including a dope little 90's hip hop set.
We headed out of the club a little after 3 and headed over to Geno's for my FIRST Philly cheesteak! I reeeeeally wanted to smash 2 of these jammies, but the fellas decided against it for me being that we were waking up in a few hours to get our chicken and waffles on!
Now that the bellies were full, we started to head back and drop Fashen and his homie off at their hotel. Little did we know, we were about to take a complete tour of Philly in about 20 minutes! Since Fashen and I have never really been there, it was only right to see the sights, even though it was almost 4:30am! We stopped by love park, went past the new comcast building, and ended up at the famous Rocky statue.
I'm pretty sure you guys know what happens now.............
After about 3hrs of sleep, we scooped Fashen from his hotel and went to grab chicken and waffles from a spot called "Jones". We all had the chance to catch up on some shit, in between stuffing our face!
I had a great time and I'm looking foward to going back up before Ex heads west. Thanks again for having me up homie! Next up...Philly to Bmore!
Grand opening of No Limit Inc. in Belair, MD
This past Friday I was asked to DJ at my homie's party he was having for his grand opening of a new shop he opened. No Limit is THE SPOT to go for high end car and truck shit in Bmore. The party was sponsored by Ciroc, and the food was brought in from Michael's Cafe. There was a good crowd including Dan Wilcox of the Ravens, and the homie Chris Robinson!!!!(Directed ATL, and some reeeeally good music videos including Jay Z's "Roc Boys"!)

Big Air Bash 7 Las Vegas
This year Kicker moved the now famous "Big Air Bash" over to the Palms. This party usually takes place every year at the Hard Rock during the SEMA show in Las Vegas. I have been djing this party since the beginning, and I can say this one was by far short bus material(Retarded). The reason I say this is because at the beginning of the party Travis Pastrana and friends decided to base jump off the side of Ghostbar at the palms!!!! Over 5,000 fans watched me rip it while an assortment of dirt bikes and quads flipped over my head all night!!! After the party I headed over to meet everyone at Prive at Planet Hollywood for the Scion party. The homies from the RUB were djing and although it was a straight up sword fight, we had a great time. Big shouts to everyone at Stussy and UNDFTD Las Vegas for coming through as well as my dudes over at Eat, Sleep, Race.

Ride across DC
Last week the homie Sean Armstrong aka- Face took the bikes out for a voyage around DC. This was the day before I left for Vegas and I really needed to take some time to enjoy one of the last nice days before it started getting brick city(COLD!!) around the way. It's funny, I work in DC on a regular basis, and live less than an hour away, and this was the first time I really got to see all of these amazing monuments. All together we probably rode about 20 miles or so, which was a little rough on Sean since it was his first time on his new fixie!
Li Lo x Sam Ronson x Impulse in DC

Holy shit! So much has gone on since my last post that I haven't even been able to keep up with this blog! A few weeks ago I opened for Samantha Ronson @ Lotus in Washington,DC. Everything seemed to be going well until Lohan showed up! It instantly turned into a circus and the booth became a jail cell. This is where the infamous "Lohan myspace blog" took place as well as the TMZ video. I guess I'm used to it, but it still trips me out how people act around celebrities. All together it was a good night despite the drama, and it was a pleasure working with Samantha.

New pop up art gallery at 282 Bowery and Houston Street in NY
On my recent trip up to NY, My boy Evan G. and I stumbled upon this pop up gallery and took some pics. Here is some info on the gallery and some pics I snapped.
The dealer who represents the infamous British artist Banksy is opening his first gallery in New York. Steve Lazarides, who owns Lazarides Gallery, which has four outposts in and around London, will open a pop-up gallery in a former restaurant-supply store on the corner of Bowery and Houston Street beginning tomorrow.
The show, "The Outsiders," which will be open for two weeks, features new work from Mr. Lazarides's stable of provocative artists, including a portrait of President Bush made out of bits of pornography and two large murals adorning the exterior of the gallery.
