Ok, so here it is.....the IMPULSE blog! I know, I know....welcome to 2008.
These past few months have been super hectic for the kid. DC has taken me hostage and doesn't seem to be letting go anytime soon.......which is perfectly ok with me. It always makes me laugh that I play in DC 3 nights a week to a crowd of 200-700 people on a consistent basis, yet I come back to my hometown and can only seem to get 50 out! I know that doesn't sound very glamorous, but hey...It be's like that. It seems to be like that for many artists, "No love in your hometown syndrome" is what I like to call it. I have been working with Scratch Academy out of New York alot this year(Big shouts to Will, Colin, and Jen!) so they have been keeping me pretty busy on the corporate side of things. I will also be doing quite a few shows with Kicker this summer around the US, including the US Open of Surfing in Huntington Beach, CA...which is bonkers!!!
So stay tuned for plenty of tasty shit, music, and my "rants".......this is gonna be fun!
PS- Just wanted to say peace to my homie Neran out of DC. I wish you the best of luck out in LaLa Land(los Angeles) and can't wait to get out there and party with you east coast style and maybe even end up on TMZ!
